Get Ready™ has a proven cloud-based Screening Tool that our clients have been using since May 2020, to easily track employees, essential visitors and contractors who are entering a workplace. Powered by the Get Ready Learning Management System™ (LMS), the course includes learning objectives, videos and a short quiz to provide proof of understanding. Staff can conveniently complete the course at their own pace on their desktop or mobile device; once successful, they will receive a Certificate of Completion. Managers can monitor training progress on the LMS dashboard.
Workplace Screening On September 25, 2020, the Ontario Government announced an amendment to O. Reg. 364/20 to tighten public health measures in response to the recent rise in cases of COVID-19. One of the amendments requires businesses or organizations to comply with any advice, recommendations, and instructions issued by the Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health on screening for COVID-19.The Ontario Government now requires that all workplaces must implement screening for any workers or essential visitors entering the work environment.Staff TrainingOntario’s labor law mandates that employers take every reasonable precaution to protect the health and safety of workers. This includes protecting workers from hazards posed by infectious diseases – including COVID-19. It is required for all workplaces under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, that all employers must ensure workers wear the proper protective equipment including face masks and are trained on how to use them.
