Matey Nedkov de Lacamp
Matey Nedkov is a serial entrepreneur with over 30 years of diverse international business experience. In the early 90’s Matey started Infonet Media, once the largest in-store marketing company in Canada, currently owned and operated by Rupert Murdoch’s NewsCorp. After the massive success Matey went onto develop Nedcorp Holdings Inc. where he owned, operated, and successfully exited one of the largest Media companies in Asia operating in 7 different countries.
Mr. Nedkov currently serves as the President & CEO of International Corporate Expansion – a Division of Nedcorp Holdings Inc. which provides Commercialization, M&A, and Capital Raise advisory services to small & mid-cap market companies in Canada.
Mr. Nedkov is an active Board Member of EUCCAN - European Union Chamber of Commerce in Canada, he is the Founder of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce in Canada also known as the Canada Bulgaria Business Network and has served on the board of the French Chamber of Commerce for 3 years.
Mark Camilleri
Mark Camilleri is Canadian lawyer and principal of Camilleri Law, a Brussels based law firm. He has nearly 20 years of legal experience supporting companies carrying out Canada-EU cross-border business and investment. Mark actively assists clients understand and navigate the opportunities offered by the Canada-EU Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and the EU Single Market.
Mark is also the President and co-founder of the Canada EU Trade and Investment Association (CEUTIA), a Brussels based not-for-profit organization aimed at promoting CETA and greater Canada-EU trade and investment.
Before moving to Brussels and establishing Camilleri Law, Mark was a partner in the London, United Kingdom office of a Canadian law firm. Prior to that, he was a corporate law associate in the firm’s Toronto office. Mark is a member of the Law Society of Ontario (2002), a member of the Law Society of England and Wales (2009) and a full member of the Brussels Bar (2019). He holds a B.A. (Hons) from the University of Toronto, a LL.B. and MBA from Dalhousie University and an LL.M. in EU Law from KU Leuven. Mark also holds the CIPP/E certification as a Certified Information Privacy Professional from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Mark is a member of the faculty of law at KU Leuven (where he teaches a course on CETA).
