The Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host its annual Women in Business Breakfast on Tuesday, February 15th, 2011 at the Pavilion at Algoma's Water Tower Inn.  Registration and networking begins at 7:45 am with breakfast at 8:15 am.

Special guest speaker will be Mary E. Pascuzzi. Throughout her career and her personal efforts, Mary has demonstrated her commitment to making our community a better place to live and to the safety of its residents including women and children. As an Assistant Crown Attorney, she has been involved in overseeing sexual assault prosecutions which included developing a sexual abuse team protocol for  the office. She provides advice and training to area Police services and is currently the Crown lead for the District of Algoma, overseeing all prosecutions of charges relating to domestic violence. From 1997 to 2000, she served as a municipal councilor for Ward 6.  During her time on Council, she participated on several committees as representative including: the Algoma Arts Festival Association as well as the Millennium, the Emergency Measures, the Safe Cities and Parabus Committees. She has lent her insights as a member of the Board of Directors of both Algoma University and the Sault Area Hospital and was proud to serve as Chair of Volunteers for the 2001 Special Olympics.

Tickets for this event are $21.75 + HST per person for Chamber members, or $28.75 + HST per person for non-members.  Tables of 8 are also available for $166.00 + HST per table (Chamber members).  Advance registration is required and there is a 48 hour cancellation policy in effect for this event .
